(Agriterra Partner) Roland and Valérie Feuillas founded Les Maîtres de mon Moulin over 20 years ago in Cucugnan. A true laboratory of effervescent and insatiable systemic reflection, with Roland and Valérie, the conversation is about bread, terroirs, grains, flours, milling, baking, pastry, cuisine, history, culture, knowledge—in the end, it’s about humanity and its entire ecosystem, far beyond the traditional conception of milling and baking professions.

Starting with bread as the foundation, and through their systemic approach, they rebuilt everything from scratch. Beginning with the quality of seeds and their nutritional value, Roland assembled a unique collection of nearly 500 varieties of ancient wheat from around the world, which he acclimatizes, multiplies, and grows with carefully selected farmers committed to agro-ecological and soil bio-regeneration practices on the right terroirs with the right climate. To obtain flour of the required quality, he even designed his own mills, which he markets. To achieve the baking results he wanted, he designed his own oven. To have even more impact, he created a range of exceptional products around bread, pastry, and pasta, which he sells to his clients, always striving to get closer to them by creating a real community through his digital sales platform and his thematic TV channel, which features top chefs and personalities with his products in often lively and engaging dialogues.

Beyond bread, Roland wishes to convince the world of the virtues of this method and model. He brings along top chefs and personalities, all people of goodwill, to become ambassadors of this paradigm shift. He trains and supports farmers, millers, and bakers, and fuels their reflection on the evolution of their profession by offering them a complete turnkey concept, while also drawing inspiration from these exchanges to continue reflecting on his own.
